As we embark on this digital journey with connected devices and people, reverse supply chain and remanufacturing can be a key enabler of this magnificent growth with renewed expectations from end consumers. Harnessing the supply chain power end to end in reverse is no menial task. Companies have to stay committed to people, process and technology and a structured implementation plan will spearhead the reverse supply chain improvement. Luckily we are at a phase where the technology and processes have matured for implementation. Success will be defined by those companies and the people therein, who can learn and drive these innovations within their respective organizations.

Ramesh is a supply chain/manufacturing executive with 25+ years of experience in industry and consulting having worked for major industry players such as General Motors, Delphi Corporation, Amazon.com, Verizon and FTI Consulting. Ramesh’s industry experience has resulted in leadership roles across the product life cycle from design, prototype, manufacturing, aftermarket and returns management. He also holds a PhD in remanufacturing from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, NL.
