Join Reman Companies Around the World as They Participate in an Online Celebration.
The Remanufacturing Industries Council, along with six other remanufacturing associations, are supporting a day-long virtual celebration on April 9, 2020. Reman Day was established in 2017 to educate the world about the value of remanufacturing and draw attention to the critical role it plays in the circular economy. This one-day event will include an online learning experience that emphasizes the importance of industry best practices and professional development.
Reman Day is an annual global event, traditionally executed at the local level. 2020 will incorporate a larger variety of digital events than in the past. βIn light of the circumstances around the COVID-19 pandemic, we feel it is vital that our industry stays connected and optimistic about the future. Reman Day is the perfect opportunity to network, share best practices, and stay abreast of the latest industry developments. An online celebration allows everyone to practice social distancing while still being able to participate. Our members have put together some wonderful content ranging from workforce development to the circular economy to a walk-through of the reman ANSI standard,β said RIC Chairman Vaughn Henson.
Companies can register for free at RemanDay.org. Once registered, they have access to planning resources, live and pre-recorded webinars, virtual event ideas, and plans for social sharing. A social wall is on display on the homepage and will display social media posts with #RemanDay2020 from Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Reman Day is a collective effort by the Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC) and six remanufacturing sector associations β Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA), Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA), Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA), International Imaging Technology Council (I-ITC), Professional Electrical Apparatus Reconditioning League (PEARL), and Production Engine Remanufacturing Association (PERA), as well as the Reman World publication.
