Committee Information
Mission
The Membership Subcommittee shall oversee recruitment and retention of RIC members, ensuring sustained growth in all sectors of the remanufacturing industry.
The main goal of the subcommittee is to promote the growth of RIC membership. Responsibilities include:

Identifying and contacting prospective and viable candidates for membership in the RIC

Increasing membership through soliciting, networking and industry outreach

Periodic evaluation of the membership categories/criteria and the dues structure, as necessary

Work with the Marketing & Membership committee on the development of surveys and other research instruments that will help to evaluate members’ needs, interests and opinions

Work with the Marketing & Membership committee on the development of marketing and communication material for the purpose of recruitment

Responsible for identifying and recommending changes within the committee membership as needed as RIC grows and/or needs change
The committee will include a chair and at least three other members. Committee members must understand and respect the confidential, sensitive nature of discussions of membership appropriateness and qualification.
